mirror mirror…

I so didn’t want to get up this morning. I can do it, if my husband doesn’t roll over and put his arm around me right before I leave, then all I want to  do is snuggle into his warmth!

But, I got up and went, all my strength training is out of the way for this week, just two more days of cardio and then a break for the weekend!

You know, the biggest loser is getting to the point where almost all the contestants (female) weigh less than me! Yipes! I know that was bound to happen, as they have crazy work outs, and i’ve heard (at least in previous years some unhealthy weight loss techniques right before weigh in). But, either way, when I don’t want to finish out my set of squats, I think about those contestants…they keep pushing it…I have to learn to do that too.

Well, staying strong at 246. I just realized that my number was all even multiples of 2. Well, hopefully not for long.

Maintaining during thanksgiving is just fine with me.

  Step is continually getting easier, today wasn’t too bad at all, although I was still sweating like a pig by the end of it.

I don’t actually have much to say, other than my weight stayed the same, and I love you all!

Dun Dun Dun…tomorrow is w-day

Well, Thanksgiving treated me well, in that I ate all the good food I wanted. :) and I don’t regret a single bite of it. If I can manage to make the holidays..one day, I feel it’s ok to eat like I want. So I ate what I wanted on thanksgiving day…and have been trying to keep it in check since. same iwth Christmas…it’s one day. Make the holidays…days not a season of bad eating.

But, I worked out on thanksgiving day, but not much after that, tomorrow is weigh in day to assess the damage. I cheated a little bit this morning, and the scale was at 246, same as last week. So, assuming this morning wasn’t a fluke, I maintained through thanksgiving. Woot woot! But, tomorrow will be the official weigh in day, got to keep it honest!

oh my aching thighs!!!!

Good lord, my thighs are KILLING ME!!!!!! I added a bit of weight yesterday during squats, cause I def. wasn’t lifting enough, and my gams are letting me know the felt the difference today~! It made for a pretty rough step clas this morning, but it was good to get my legs pumping before having to sit all day at work!

 Well, it’s also Tuesday, my weigh in day. The scale was wavering between losing .8 of a pound and pound, so…i’m giving my self the pound.  I have a goal to lose 11 more pounds by the time I go to Vegas with my girlfriends in February. If I make that goal, that will be a total of 25 pounds for me. I know that doesn’t match my weight ticker. When I joined this site, I made a guestimate of what my weight was. I know at one point I weight 263, but then it was another month before I joined the gym, and i’d been eating like crap and not working out, so I assumed I weighed 265.

I’m actually using 260 as my benchmark, as that the heaviest weight that I ever wrote down. :)

got to keep on mooooovin!

Well, this weekend my husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary. Bless my husbands heart, he wanted to make me a candlelight dinner and then we would go out for desert. He asked me if there was anything I didn’t want, and I said, if we had salad that I didn’t want anything with creamy dressing (ranch ,cesar etc) this isn’t really a problem cause 99% of the time we make our own dressing anyway. So, he makes me dinner, and it smells delicious, and its….fettucine alfredo! I would have done better with cesar dressing! Oh well, I thought to hell with my calories, you only have your first anniversary once, and my husband and made a beautiful and delicious meal for me.

And man, it was good, but   let me tell you, weigh in tomorrow? with my period arriving today? not going to be pretty.

I just need to get back on track. My weight loss is slowing ,I can feel that my body isn’t changing, and I really feel like it’s still fatty. Obviously, I still weigh a lot, but I feel like I should have less fat on my arms and legs by now, time to amp up the cardio and cut back on the fat in my diet!

Hey everyone, I was reading through some blogs, and I found this Elliptical workout on FitSugar.  Lately i’ve been having a really hard time getting through anysort of cardio that isn’t a DVD or a class ( you know, someone else leading my unmotivated butt),I’ve just been getting bored doing cardio machines. I’m also a member of Body By Glamour (of glamour mag fam) and one of the magazines fitness editor’s has a blog, she linked this workout  in her blog.

IT IS GREAT! there is enough change that I didnt’ get bored, and the intervals didnt’ change too quickly that I felt like I was paying more attention to getting the time and setting right, then to working out. It was a good mix, and 40 minutes on the elliptical had passed before I knew it.

Seriously, try it.

Well, I’m down one more pound. Slow and Steady. Steady as she goes…

It was nice to have yesterday off from work, It’s already tuesday! And tonight the biggest loser is on! WOOT WOOT!

pounds and inches

well, it’s that time of the month…For measuring inches!!!!

I lost 3.6 inches this month, which brings me to a grand total of 13.5 inches lost or maybe it was 13.6. hrm… anyway, I am pretty happy about that. My calves and my upper arms have not changed at all inch wise,  I think they just trade fat for muscle, mostly. My biggest overall loss has been on my chest (bra band area) which is great. goodbey underbra roll!
